This is Lithuania's only chance after its national carrier FlyLAL bankruptcy, and AirBaltic will be using the new situation to its full, says an unnamed aviation business expert. AirBaltic CEO Bertolt Flick admits the Vilnius international airport will develop very rapidly, and the Latvian carrier will be able to launch new direct routes to and from this airport - airBaltic plans to unveil five new routes to Vilnius this winter season.
