Kallas: Rail Baltica will come
with the same gauge as before

European Commission transport commissioner Siim Kallas acknowledged day before yesterday in the European Union building in Tallinn that the long-awaited European-scaled Rail Baltic project is delayed.

However, everything necessary from the Estonian side has been completed. Kallas explained that the project's weakness is the question of railway gauge width. He said that Rail Baltica in Estonia will come in its previously valid gauge width.
