Everyone who has bought a plane ticket but cannot use it for some reason, should be refunded at least the part that would have been otherwise used for airport taxes, BBC reported. Aviation companies who fly via Estonia are theoretically ready to compensate the airport taxes when the ticket is annulled but they don’t inform their clients separately of that possibility. Estonian Air does not inform their clients separately of the possibility of getting a refund and for example Czech Airlines, whose planes fly from Tallinn to four European cities, acts the same way.
