Viking Line predicts a sharpening
of competition

Ship firm Viking Line's acting director of operations and marketing director Boris Ekman forecasts a sharpening of competition for next year.

Sizeable growth in passenger numbers can be expected in a good case. Viking Line's turnover during the period November 1, 2008-October 31, 2009 decreased to EUR 470.7 million (compared with EUR 475.3 million the previous year) despite a growth in the number of passengers and volume of shipping.
