The number of Tallink passenger transports fell by almost a tenth in comparison with February of the previous year.

Tallink Group served altogether 551,595 travelers on all of its routes in February, which is eight percent less than during the same period in 2009. Passenger numbers increased on the Latvia-Sweden and Estonia-Finland routes, on which the company served respective passenger totals of 27,399 (+17.5 percent) and 238,900 (+1 percent). The decrease in the number of travelers was greatly affected by Finnish winter vacations partially falling in March of this year, and by halted work on the Finland-Germany route.
