Prison for use of laser against
airplanes

A young Frenchman has accepted a six months suspended prison sentence for using his laser pen against a landing aircraft at Paris Orly.

He explained in court, that he was just trying to play with his new gadget, which he had bought in Thailand. He said that he did not know, that the laser was dangerous for the air traffic.

No less than 21 pilots from Air France have complained over ‘laser-attacks from September 2009 till April this year.
