Following talks with the airline, pilots – represented by British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa) – have secured their target of a minimum of 120 days off per annum.
Balpa general secretary Jim McAuslan said: “While the issue has created much debate, we are now happy with both the agreement and the ground that has been laid for our future relationship with the company.”
Virgin Atlantic pilots had mooted the possibility of industrial action during the dispute, potentially causing huge disruption at the airline.
